Thanks dude! Yeah I definitely tried to pull as much depth as I could out of what I was seeing, there were a lot of images that did not hit the mark because they were so flat and uninteresting and so they got the boot!
Love these photos of graffiti and store fronts and assortment of things. Feels nostalgic and lived in. Uncharacteristic of what we know of Japan as very clean. That's why these photos are very interesting.
That was always my goal with these photos, and all the photos I took in Tokyo - to make work that showed a side of that place that wasn’t what we all see all over the socials. Thanks, bud!
