Local Tourist
Sometimes you just gotta do it.
When you live in a place that’s known for very particular places and things, as a local you tend not to visit those places, or do those things. That is unless you have family (or friends) visiting, and then you become the defacto tour guide which puts you in a situation where all of a sudden you are very much at those particular places, doing those particular things.

This was the situation I found myself in when we arrived at Peggy’s cove just this last weekend. With visitors in tow, we went, we ate, we toured the east coasts most well known tourist spot and I took some very touristy photos for myself and said family members, so that they had something to memorialize their visit to our faire province.
It is in no way a knock on said photos, the place is stunning and I am very happy with how these turned out, in a very “my family will love these” kind of way. I’d love to return on my own, take my time and really try to see it in my own way, and take photos that not everyone else was also taking. That said, here are some photos from that day, some colour, some monochrome, but all Peggy’s.

Oh yeah, we also took a boat to a neighbouring fishing village, that was kind of terrifying and also super fun, in the way that rickety roller coasters with missing wheels might be fun.
Stay focused.

A little bit of Dan snuck in there anyway and I’m sure the fam is ecstatic with the photos
Looks like a beautiful place. Great series. Thank you.
