Train Car Rippers

All aboard!

I’ve seen some absolute rippers at the train yard lately. The kind of pieces that feel old and new at the same time. When I say old, I mean ones that have a style l used to aspire to paint back in the 90’s, but my skills weren’t quite as tight back then. So enjoy a June round up of the best pieces I came across, a feast for the eyeballs for sure.

In keeping with the wide panos I shot for those Alberta landscapes, again I asked myself why the heck haven’t I been using this format for the train yards? It’s clearly a style that works super well with the train cars, so I’ll be sticking with shooting these with my phone for the foreseeable future.

I ended the post with my favourite local writer, Fatso. His stuff is just dripping with style, with colour combos that no one else is doing and that makes this one the stand out for me. So dope.
