Maybe next time you can shoot Tri-X at 1600 (or even 3200) 😜 I love pushing this film, it's like it asks for it. Thanks for sharing the neighborhood, I always love to see how other parts of the world look like :)

I really like the one with the chair standing in the middle of all the flowers. It's so peaceful. I also like the one with the street and the two houses. Very nice!

I love your TriX recipe. You photos give me motivation to shoot more black and white.

Aw thanks, man! Yeah I’ve got a roll of Tri X to shoot ASAP, I’m eager to test the results against my recipe especially since I can get similar lighting conditions this time of year and subject matter to really have an accurate comparison.

Nice I am looking forward to that comparison!

Can't decide what I love most between the tri-x recipe, the vibe of the shots of the homes or that you reminded me to view the images in their proper aspect ratio.

Lies. It's the last one. Glad you prompted me to do so, images are meant to be viewed in full. Lovely work here. Bit of picturesque mid 20th century small town atmosphere going on with those homes. Feelin' young looking at it.

Thank you, sir! Yeah I got that hot tip on aspect ratios from Adam Perler, I didn’t even realize you could do variable grid layouts in posts until last week but it won’t display the same in all places (ie: email, app, web) which is something Substack needs to sort out, it’s a bit of a mess right now.

I'm greedy and just make every photo native haha

Haha, I was doing that but I like having layout options. I’ll likely bounce back and forth.
